Welcome to Fall

It has been awfully quiet on this website. We have lots of good reasons. Big one - we moved. We found renters for our little place on Toad Lake and rented ourselves a family-sized place in town. More on that later - once the interior decoration is all worked out, we can post some pictures. The key thing for y’all to know is… a spare bedroom and extra bathroom for guests! So please plan a visit.
We also took a much-needed week long vacation on the Olympic Coast. Susie has loaded up four separate photo galleries on the right from different parts of the trip. Check out our cutie living it up in the great outdoors!
Speaking of the QP, she is growing faster than we can take pictures. The best part is all the words she is starting to use! Up, down, coat, on, doggy, puppy, kitty, bye bye, hi, Heidi, nose, hat, diapee, vitamin, bike, hot – not all coming out perfectly clear but we recognize them, and she’s adding a couple every week. She knows about 7 animal sounds and can make a bunny face. We are taking her to her second petting zoo tomorrow. This girl loves animals! She also loves songs and dancing.
The cycling side of our lives have been very busy also, helped somewhat by our new location in town. Susie started commuting to Superfeet again now that we’re closer and the ride is mostly flat. I have been pulling Q to daycare across from my work by bike trailer on Tuesday through Thurdsay, which is a treat. I have been very busy putting together a new cyclocross series called the Cascade Cross Series, and racing on the velodrome in Vancouver. In fact, I’m headed up there tonight for my first race as a C. I think we’re getting back in shape! Must have been all that fresh air from vacation.
Lastly, for those who don’t know, my sister is expecting! She’s estimated to be about 10 months along, and feeling rather queasy I hear…
